Hello, all.

I haven't been very active lately, and there are a number of reasons for that. I'm sure people don't worry as much, since I generally don't post content and mostly do reviews and such, but just in case you're wondering what I'm up to, here's the scoop.

I'm back in the United States now, so I'm finishing up my last semester of college. There's plenty to do pertaining to that, so I'm kept fairly busy with schoolwork and meetings and other fun things. If I'm not there, I'm at my part time job trying to stay afloat financially.

Aside from that, I'm doing my best to get back to Japan, keep a long distance relationship going, get my job applications in, and a plethora of other fun activities.

Most of the downtime I get is spent playing AION, which I highly recommend you check out. It is a beautiful and very entertaining MMORPG. Join Zikel server as an Asmodae and we'll go from there. Let me know what your character name is... I'll have you join my Legion.

Other than that, life goes on... just not so much time for Newgrounds goodness. Only now and then. Rest assured... I'm not dead or anything, just quite busy.

Recently I've been browsing around the Audio Portal, and I must say that I'm very pleased by what I found. There's a lot of good music and voice acting coming over the portal, and it needs to be appreciated!

There's a large variety of genres floating around, but I must say I've been impressed the most by the Trance and Techno music that's been flowing through. I have two artists that I would like to bring up with you and my current favorite song from each, so keep reading and then click on a few links. Download the music, share it with your friends, and send them back for more!

First up is nBIZ. This guy is a master of Trance music from what I have heard so far. I first came across him in the game Music in Motion, and I listened to a number of his other tracks and fell in love with the music. He works up some great beats with some good bass to back it up, and you'll be humming the melodies all day long if you don't have an iPod or Zune or something to listen to it on. His music flows elegantly but powerfully, and it's just fantastic. One of my favorites is the song _:Eve:_ that he did, and there's another one on his page called _:Better Off Alone:_ (Remix) that is equally as awesome and very upbeat. Check him out, it's worth your time.

Another great Trance artist that I found is DaGrahamCraka, who lays down some pretty energetic stuff as well. I really dig the song {Runaway} for it's "happy hardcore" sound, and I'm sure you'll feel the same way. Seriously, check 'em out! It's great stuff!

So that's my update on my Audio Portal explorations as of late. If I think of anything else interesting, I'll be back. I may start mixing up a song or two of my own! Now wouldn't that be fun?

As you can see on my profile, I've been going after Newgrounds Medals like it's going out of style. In a few days I acquired 2000+ points, and I hope to continue doing so. It's a nice incentive to play some of the games, and gives you something to work towards and show to everyone else. I love the medal system and if I even make a flash game of my own, I hope it's good enough to merit having medals on it. It's a nice way to discover different games too by looking at what people have earned on their profiles and following the links to see if you can earn them yourself. Obviously, I had a little bit of free time in which to do all that gaming.

I've also been reviewing a lot of flash and music, and checking on new portal submissions to earn myself some blam/protect points. There's a lot of good stuff coming in on a daily basis, but there's also a horrendous amount of junk that needs to be disposed of. I'm doing my part to help.

Don't blow the whistle unless you're absolutely 100% sure of what you're blowing the whistle about. One wrong blow will earn you a garbage whistle. Word to the wise, yo.

If you haven't noticed, I finally sat down and made a picture and avatar for my Newgrounds profile.

The avatar was a simple item with the character "Omega" placed in the middle, then with a ripple-effect background done behind it. I also put a little glow effect on the Omega character.

The picture started with a stock anime picture from Shakugan no Shana, which I cropped, color-modified, and tweaked around a bit, then threw my Newgrounds name on there just in case you don't remember it.

Both were made relatively quickly using Macromedia Fireworks MX.

So I finally started exploring the forums on NG since I had some time on my hands. Well, not really... I have plenty of work I need to get done, but I figured a break was in order. I started out watching some flash animations (Egoraptor, you're awesome) and then somehow found my way over to the forums.

This is one of the few times I've come across a forum that's not full of idiots. Generally, everyone seems to be respectful of everyone else, and that's hard to come across. Then again, it could be due to the forum rules which don't leave a lot of room for stupid people, which I can appreciate. I threw a couple of random posts up in the general chat section, and I'll probably stop back in later to see what's new.

I had some people coercing me to put up a flash animation or something, but I'm not that skillful when it comes to that sort of thing. I could do a little voice acting, I'm sure, or maybe I can whip up something else interesting. We'll see. As long as no one wants me to sing... I'm sure I caused pain to my friends around me during last night's karaoke session. Yikes.

I don't really have much else to share right now, so that's all you get. More updates to come when I have something to update. Huzzah.

Wrote a review of a hentai flash game, huzzah. Other than that, that's about the most of what I accomplished. Now I'm probably going to leave the computer behind and fire up MGO for a while since I don't really have anything better to do today.
